Cosmetic Condition: This vintage J-200 is in very good cosmetic condition for it’s age. The guitar is free of large scratches, dings, and dents. There is light swirling throughout as well as light checking on the heel and the surrounding areas. The checking is due to the neck reset. There are two visible crack repairs on the top. One is spanning from behind the bridge to the back of the top above the strap button and a second near the neck joint in front of the pick guard.
Modifications/Repairs: -Neck reset. This has been professionally done and is stable. -Two crack repairs on the top. The finish has been touched up over the longer of the two crack repairs. -Non-original bridge pins.
Serial Number: 832708
Tech Notes: This J-200 plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The original frets are tall and show light wear. The guitar is being dated to 1969 based off the serial number, cosmetic appointments, and the hight-adjustable saddle.
